Chirag “Chris” Hasmukh Patel, MD

Dr. Chris Patel earned his undergraduate degree in biology and psychology from Duke University, graduating cum laude, before going on to complete his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. He then began his postgraduate training at the Medical College of Georgia, where he completed an internship, an anesthesiology residency, and a fellowship in pain medicine. This training provided extensive experience in interventional procedures, pharmacological therapies, and advanced pain management techniques, equipping him to treat a wide range of acute and chronic pain conditions.

Following his fellowship, Dr. Patel founded the Department of Pain Management at White-Wilson Medical Center in Fort Walton Beach, FL, where he practiced for nearly eight years. He then relocated to Savannah, GA, where he served as an interventional pain management physician with Neurological Spine and Pain, LLC, and later with Serenity Spine Center, LLC. In 2025, he joined Centurion Spine & Pain Centers, where he continues to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in Pooler and Savannah.

Dr. Patel is double board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both anesthesiology and pain medicine, and he maintains active medical licenses in Florida and Georgia.
