Dr. Ramos uses a multimodal approach utilizing cutting edge technology and treatment approaches in pain control for his patients. He is a leader in the field of neuromodulation which includes intrathecal pump placement, spinal cord stimulation, and peripheral nerve stimulation, and he is one of a few in Central Florida that performs dorsal root ganglion stimulation. He lectures and trains other doctors in the field of neuromodulation and other minimally invasive spine procedures. He specializes in nonsurgical alternatives for pain control. He has been an investigator on several research teams and continues his work.

Dr. Ramos went to medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. His residency in Anesthesiology was at University of Miami. His fellowship in pain management was at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Dr. Ramos enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and watching college football with friends. He was born and raised in Orlando where he went to Bishop Moore High School and UCF and is fluent in both English and Spanish and speaks Portuguese. He prides himself in treating his patients like family.
He has served as a medical volunteer on humanitarian missions to the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
